As part of a 5-year support package to Kompiam District Hospital, the Australian Government through DFAT (Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade) provided funding for several infrastructure projects across the hospital.

Among these developments were the two staff houses pictured here. Constructed over several years, these homes have strengthened the hospital’s ability to attract and retain medical staff by providing quality accomodation on site.

Today, both houses are occupied by doctors serving at Kompiam District Hospital, and continue to play an importanat role in supporitng the delivery of healthcare services to our community.
