Current Vacancies
- Principal (Full-Time)
Position Overview
The Principal will provide spiritual, educational and administrative leadership for Kompiam International School. The successful applicant will work closely with the School Board, staff, students, and parents to promote excellence in academic achievement, Christian character development, and school growth.
Essential Selection Criteria
Applicants must:
- Demonstrate a strong Christian faith and commitment to Christian education
- Hold a diploma or higher qualification. Teaching qualifications will be highly regarded
- Have teaching experience and leadership experience within a school setting
- Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Possess strong organizational and administrative abilities
- Be capable of leading staff, managing student welfare, and supporting school development initiatives
- Be willing to uphold and promote the vision, mission, and values of Kompiam International School
- Experience with the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) program will be highly regarded but is not essential.
- Monitor (Full-Time)
Position Overview
The Monitor will assist with the supervision, instruction, and care of students. The successful applicant will support the ACE curriculum and contribute to a positive Christian learning environment.
Essential Selection Criteria
Applicants must:
- Hold a Grade 12 Certificate or higher qualification.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to Christian values and the mission of the school
- Communicate effectively in English
- Be confident in leading students and maintaining classroom discipline
- Demonstrate good character, integrity, and professionalism
- Be willing to undertake ACE training and professional development
- Work effectively with young children and their families
Application Requirements:
Applicants for either position must submit:
- Cover Letter
- An up to date Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Copies of relevant certificates and qualifications
- At least two character or professional references
- Any additional supporting documentation relevant to the position
Child Safety and Christian Conduct:
Kompiam International School is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for all students. Successful applicants will be expected to:
- Uphold Christian standards of conduct
- Demonstrate suitability to work with children
- Comply with all school policies, procedures and behavioural expectations.
Selection Process:
Applications will be reviewed by the School Board. Shortlisted candidates may be required to:
- Attend an interview
- Provide additional referee details (if required)
- Participate in orientation or training activities as required
