Training opportunities for PNG Students
Kompiam offers great opportunities for PNG Medical Students and Residents to get genuine rural experience, with good supervision and training in a well equipped facility. Whether you are doing your 5th year rural block, or looking for a place to do a three-month residency, we welcome enquiries.
Post graduates interested in the MMED (Rural) program may also wish to apply, as from time to time we have vacancies for post graduate training.
Our senior doctor is a Lecturer of UPNG SMHS, and Kompiam has been instrumental in rural doctor training since 2008.
Good accommodation is available with an excellent library, and computer facilities including internet access.
