Kompiam Rural Hospital

Kompiam Rural Hospital is the major centre for referral in our district, as well as the major administrative hub.

The hospital has 54 beds currently (the new development will expand this to around 80), and offers a full medical, surgical and obstetric services and well as being the major supply base and centre for all preventative health care programs in Kompiam.

The hospital is 45km from Wabag along a slightly difficult dirt road. The station is also serviced by Mission Aviation Fellowship aircraft. Power supply now completed, from solar generated 24 hours every day. Which we have progressively expanded across the hospital and staff housing over the years.

The services offered here have been progressively upgraded over the past 15 years and we hope, when the development is complete, to have established major centre for both health care provision and training.
